The primary responsibility for this position is to support our existing customers and secondary to acquire new commercial, industrial and institutional projects and accounts by developing relationships with owners, facility manager and management companies within the greater Cincinnati, northern Kentucky and Dayton markets. This is a consultative sales position. Project Sales Engineer sells installation projects for mechanical systems to technical and C-level decision makers. They develop sales leads, qualify prospects and make sales calls. They perform site surveys, estimate, prepare and propose consultative sales solutions to meet the customers’ needs. Project Sales Engineer will negotiate, estimate, bid, propose and close contracts at qualified margins. Project Sales Engineer ensures that projects have permit drawings and have been engineered to meet current codes, utilizing outside engineering support when needed. Project Sales Engineers perform complete and quality turnovers with project management after sales to support a successful job completion that meets scope definition and projected gross margins and customer expectations.
